Water Turn-off for 2023
The practice for many years of the Wenatchee Reclamation District (WRD) is to shut off the canal system water that originates in Dryden, Washington sometime around the 10th of October. For 2023, the turn-off will be on October 13, 2023 per the WRD. It takes less than a full day for the canal to evacuate to the point of having no irrigation water available so don’t count on irrigating after October 13th. Water will again be available around the 10th of April in 2024 as has been the practice in past years. I will post the exact date when it becomes available.
