Water is now on for 2024 (April – October)

The Wenatchee Reclamation District (WRD) began filling their canal system on April 8, 2024. We (CVTIA) opened our main valve at the headgate to charge our system on Saturday April 13, 2024. The system is now charged and ready for use.

Our 3nd annual in-person and Zoom neighborhood meeting was held on Saturday, April 6, at 6:00 p.m. on Hank LuBean’s front porch at 1700 North Aurora; the written minutes and video of the meeting are in the ‘Recent Posts’ Section of this website.

It is important that CVTIA Lot Owners or renters adjust their water use times to avoid the 6 – 10 p.m. and 4 – 8 a.m. periods, if possible, so we can flatten the curve of our daily use and possibly stop paying for additional water. This will help us avoid increasing our annual irrigation system dues. Remember, each lot owner pays the Wenatchee Reclamation District $130 per year for the water through the Douglas County Auditor’s office. We, the CVTIA neighborhood system, maintain the piping and valves from the headgate to our properties. We therefore request dues of $20 per lot to maintain sufficient funds to make repairs and perform maintenance on our part of the system (everything downstream of the headgate). Please help our system hold the costs down by adjusting your water use time to avoid the heavy use periods as noted above.

The form below is what we sent out to Lot owners for information and dues collection. If you have not yet paid your dues of $20 per lot for this season, please do so; we are all in this together.

I am Hank LuBean, your neighbor and current CVTIA Administrator.
